Hi, I am IanJ. I’ve been following machine learning developments for some time now. While president of ImageWare R+D Inc (many years ago!) I invented the painterly effect algorithms in Photoshop and some Microsoft products, which were all created using image processing tech. I’m still very interested in painterly effect development and Deep Art Effects is a really nice platform to experiment with these state-of-the-art machine learning approaches to creating painterly styles.
